please find a documentry on how the use of Endosulfan (pesticide) has
created widespread congential abnormalities in the children of
Kochinim,
Kerala. Also on how the rampant use of fertilizers and pesticides in
decimating the ecology and how farmers are moving back to organic
farming to ensure sustained development.

if you ever get a chance to travel to farmlands of india and see how
indiscriminately pesticide is used on the farms it will turn your
stomach.

this indiscrimate use of pesticide is another example probably of how
far we have moved from nature that we cannot even see where we are.

not only that the high cost of pesticide is also probably one of the
reasons for increased input cost of farming resulting in more debt.
